Achievements of NYC are -

The management of NYC is lead by 100% Self-generating YEH volunteers. The convener and his team of NYC declared in THP staffs meeting, we are very sorry that we do not have any job for you for NYC. We are able to complete the whole event by ourselves.

In NYC barrister Kamal Hossain, Prof. Mozaffar Ahmed, famous writer Prof. Hasan Azizul Haq, Prof. Ajoy Roy, former UN executive Monwarul Islam, Associate editor of the Daily Star Shah Hossen Imam, economist Dr. Atiur Rahman were present.

Dr. Kamal said, electronic media is missing this success. I personally will write them to coverage these YEH achievements. Prof. Mozaffar Ahmed said, YEH improved their quality. Shah Hassan Imam said, I am empowered. I did not see this type of success created entirely by volunteers. Prof. Atiur Rahman said, YEH is doing new things and putting forward new ideas which normally other organizations do not create.

Thirty seven Journalists from the National Daily Newspapers have joined in NYC. Most of them said, we did not know what is happening here right now. This is very interesting to all newspapers.

All participants established their 100% ownership. They paid their transportation cost and 40 taka registration fees.

They created a VISION for 2005. YEH will create an Alternative Education System in 2005. YEH will create a demand to set a National Cleaning Day, like National Girls Child Day (NGCD). YEH will create more than 100 debate organizations at the grassroots level. YEH will create 50,000 new members.

They found some MISSING. Women participants were not enough. Reason - parents feel insecure and we do not have enough strong women leaders. Showed only three package video. But it should have been more. Power point display should have shown more details.

The Tenth National Youth Conference Committee declared that the next conference will be the best.
